Hybrid Challenge
Hi everyone!
I hope that you're reading this feeling calm, collected, and ready for the Holiday fun to begin! As usual I've waited until the last minute and have a few things that need to be done still, but that's okay, lol. Since you probably don't want to take on another Christmas project with Santa coming in just a few short days, we thought that it would be fun to focus on the approaching new year. The older that I get it seems like the faster time flies by. I can't believe that another year has come and almost gone. Thinking back and looking forward here are some fun ideas for 2008!
Mine-mini journals

credits: swirl, brush, and scalloped trim from Jackie Eckles' Altered Book Collection. Sand Lot Numbers also by Jackie Eckles. Papers (glitter grids), and felt tab by Emily Merritt. Fonts: Pea Olsen, and Ank
Mine-2008 banner

credits: Papers from Michelle Coleman's Merry Kissmas. Michelle Coleman's Handstamped Alpha (numbers), and Jackie Eckles scalloped trim from her Altered Book Collection
Lauren Reid-"I resolve" hybrid ornament

digi credits:
papers by Michelle Coleman (blue and pink from Beautiful Journey, striped from Chasing Rainbows)
other credits:
flower by Prima, rubons by Scrapworks, T-pin, ribbon, glass ornament (2.36 square)
directions:
I wrote my resolutions (and added some silly ones) on small strips of paper, then rolled them up. Some have the words on the outside, some on the inside. Then i added ribbon, a T-pin and a Prima flower! (the bottom resolution says: "i will not take myself too seriously", which i try to always abide by!)
Janet Phillips-tile

credits: paper by Michelle Coleman (re-colored) from her CHASING RAINBOWS kit. Hand stamped alpha brush set also by Michelle. Calendar pages by Misty Mareda. Swirls by Leora Sanford (from her calendar brush set). Font is CK cursive. OTHER: brad by Making Memories, notebook paper, staples, label tape, ribbon, pen by Zig.
We can't wait to see what you come up with! Please post your projects in the Challenge Gallery!
